## 对于使用MySQL的用户,对于这个变量大家一定不会陌生。前几年的MyISAM引擎优化中,这个参数也是一个重要的优化参数。但随着发展,这个参数也爆露出来一些问题。机器的内存越来越大,人们也都习惯性的把以前有用的参数分配的值越来越大。这个参数加大后也引发了一系列问题。我们首先分析一下 query_cache_size的工作原理:一个SELECT查询在DB中工作后,DB会把该语句缓存下来,当同样的一个SQL再次来到DB里调用时,DB在该表没发生变化的情况下把结果从缓存中返回给Client。这里有一个关建点,就是DB在利用Query_cache工作时,要求该语句涉及的表在这段时间内没有发生变更。那如果该表在发生变更时,Query_cache里的数据又怎么处理呢?首先要把Query_cache和该表相关的语句全部置为失效,然后在写入更新。那么如果Query_cache非常大,该表的查询结构又比较多,查询语句失效也慢,一个更新或是Insert就会很慢,这样看到的就是Update或是Insert怎么这么慢了。所以在数据库写入量或是更新量也比较大的系统,该参数不适合分配过大。而且在高并发,写入量大的系统,建议把该功能禁掉。

MEMORY存储引擎将表中的数据存储到内存中,为查询和引用其他表数据提供快速访问

所有的数据都在内存中,数据的处理速度快,但是安全性不高。如果需要很快的读写速度,对数据的安全性要求较低,可以选择MEMOEY。它对表的大小有要求,不能建立太大的表。所以,这类数据库只使用在相对较小的数据库表

||||
##### 如何选择引擎
|
||||
|
||||
如果要提供提交、回滚、崩溃恢复能力的事物安全(ACID兼容)能力,并要求实现并发控制,InnoDB是一个好的选择;如果数据表主要用来插入和查询记录,则MyISAM引擎能提供较高的处理效率;如果只是临时存放数据,数据量不大,并且不需要较高的数据安全性,可以选择将数据保存在内存中的Memory引擎;MySQL中使用该引擎作为临时表,存放查询的中间结果;如果只有INSERT和SELECT操作,可以选择Archive,Archive支持高并发的插入操作,但是本身不是事务安全的。Archive非常适合存储归档数据,如记录日志信息可以使用Archive。

使用哪一种引擎需要灵活选择,一个数据库中多个表可以使用不同引擎以满足各种性能和实际需求,使用合适的存储引擎,将会提高整个数据库的性能

##### 满足事务条件

原子性:一个事务(transaction)中的所有操作,要么全部完成,要么全部不完成,不会结束在中间某个环节。事务在执行过程中发生错误,会被回滚(Rollback)到事务开始前的状态,就像这个事务从来没有执行过一样

一致性:在事务开始之前和事务结束以后,数据库的完整性没有被破坏。这表示写入的资料必须完全符合所有的预设规则,这包含资料的精确度、串联性以及后续数据库可以自发性地完成预定的工作

隔离性:数据库允许多个并发事务同时对其数据进行读写和修改的能力,隔离性可以防止多个事务并发执行时由于交叉执行而导致数据的不一致。事务隔离分为不同级别,包括读未提交(Read uncommitted)、读提交(read committed)、可重复读(repeatable read)和串行化(Serializable)

MyISAM在执行查询语句(SELECT)前,会自动给涉及的所有表加读锁,在执行更新操作(UPDATE、DELETE、INSERT等)前,会自动给涉及的表加写锁,这个过程并不需要用户干预,因此用户一般不需要直接用LOCK TABLE命令给MyISAM表显式加锁。给MyISAM表显示加锁,一般是为了一定程度模拟事务操作,实现对某一时间点多个表的一致性读取

另一方面,由于这个 writeHost 宕机,系统会自动的检测到,并切换到备用的 writeHost 上去。这两个标签的属性相同,这里就一起介绍。
